Sara is a graduate of the Academy of Holy Names (1997) and Albany Law School (2006)
For over ten years, Sara has been a Court Attorney in the City of Schenectady, counseling and advising Schenectady City Court judges responsible for determining the outcome of criminal, civil, traffic, code enforcement, and landlord/tenant proceedings.
Currently, Sara is an Associate Court Attorney to the Honorable Mark J. Caruso, Acting Schenectady County Court Judge. She researches and analyzes complex legal issues, draft decisions and orders, conferences cases, and prepares jury instructions for felony jury trials.

Experienced:

Before counseling and advising judges, Sara worked as an associate attorney at the prestigious law firm of O’Connell & Aronowitz.
She represented hundreds of children poisoned by lead paint throughout upstate New York and practiced criminal defense extensively.
Sara has appeared and represented individuals charged with felonies and misdemeanors in Colonie Town Court, as well as dozens of other County, City, and Town and Village Courts throughout the Capital District.

Balanced:

Sara is the proud mother of two Shaker High School students. Her son is a three-sport athlete and has been recognized as a leader both on and off the field.
Her daughter is a cheerleader and is extremely gifted in art and design.
Sara enjoys volunteering as a team parent and attending games.
Sara is also the PROUD OWNER of a GREAT DANE named “Giannis.”
